About My Expertise
Born and raised in Dillingham, I am a lifelong Alaskan. I’ve lived most of my life in District 37. I am the proud mother of six children - Robert, Evelyn, Sassa, William, Grant and Theresa. I have three beautiful grandchildren who come home each summer to Dillingham for subsistence salmon fishing.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage. I am budget conscious Independent Voter. I am a subsistence user, former commercial fisherman, former Acting City Manager, former City Council member and former School Board President.
I am a strong advocate for clean water and responsible development of our resources.
Currently I am the Tribal Administrator for the Curyung Tribal Council and a current Board Member to Bristol Bay Native Corporation and Southwest Alaska Vocational and Educational Center.
It would be an honor to be your House District 37 Representative.
